Anticipating April*

April has been an exciting one for us.

There was the Genting Trip, den less than 2 weeks was whisked to Hkg and Macau for a work trip. Athough it was a work trip, I really had fun with my colleagues there.

Having to travel to and fro on the plane on my own, plus sleeping in a big hotel suite all by myself made me realised I'm actually little more independant than I though I was.

Before leaving for the trip, we got the results for the two big things we had been anticiapting that would decide the future of the Bf and I.

Firstly, we din get a good flat ballot number. Which works out well for us because we got the results of his USA posting after that.

If all works out well, we'll be leaving Singapore in November 2009
for the USA for 2 years.

And I'm glad we won't be going there alone. Many colleagues of his are going as well, although leaving different times of next year, we'd at least all be there living and working together.

And there's a comfortable window period of about 18 mths for us to get ourselves prepared mentally, emotionally and financially for this trip. Lots of things to work out. Lots of decisions to make.

But I'm glad we're in this together.

The Iconic Ruins of St Paul.
I insisted on making the trip there just to snap this although there nearly wasn't enough time for me to do so. If you haven seen this, youhaven been to Macau.

The many hundred of Casinos in the City of Luck.

Porteguese Egg Tarts! Simply Yummy!!

An Ex-colleague staying at the Macau brought us to a quaint little porteguese restaurant
with really good food.

My lovely hotel suite at the Venetian Macau. It's an all suite hotel, and we only paid S$200 per night for this. Freakin' cheap!

Bedroom area + Living room area. HUGE.

The RSAF gang had a day out at Sentosa yesterday.
The wives and Gfs - Jolin, Stephanie, me and Shiyun

Jolin and Stephanie will be going to the USA as well. Stephanie promised to impart some cooking skills to us over there. And I promised to teach them how to play Mahjong :P

We are all working towards going to the US together !
