Punggol ?

We've applied for a 4-rm punggol flat today!!

HDB's June BTO exercise has opened for Pugnggol and Sengkang... We did our research online, went down to the actual site today to check out the location. Punggol is defintely quite lively now.. although the things surrounding the actual site is still rather quiet and undeveloped.

These flats we ballot for will be near the proposed waterway and the town centre which will be developed into a bustling area for alfresco dining and watersports. It's also right next to the LRT station, so transportation should be quite conveinent. It's very quiet now, but I guess we can forsee the place to be quite good 5 years from now.

Plus, the flats will only be read 4-5 years' time, so it's just nice for our timeline. Come back from USA, the place should be almost ready by then.

We also went down tday to HDB to see the showroom flats. Quite small the floor space, I must admit, but to me it's quite cosy. New flats nowdays are very small, so no choice. Ultimately, it's how you design the flat and play around with colours and things like mirror and glass walls to make the flat look bigger. These flats we apply for are premium flats, so they do come with nice flooring and finishes.

So we're keeping our fingers crossed. Response for the flats are not overwhelming at this pt of time, but who knows, by the time they close the ballot end of next week.

Hope and pray!
