The first batch of RSAF personnel and their wives, from my hubby's squandron, left for the MountainHome Air Base, Idaho, USA in mid-march. Among them is one of the wives that I am keeping in contact with, and she updates us through her blog and facebook account. She posted pictures of the place, their house and the car they bought. Wow. All I can say is. Everything is HUGE there..

Their house and car.. that's her on the car.. gosh.. they paid USD12K for that car.. and the house is hugggeeeee.. cleaning will be hell for us (technically, me) if our house is this size as well..

Proof that they have chinese food there! That's a relief for me... cos I'm a chinese foodie.. I'll be missing all the nice chinese food in back in Singapore, when I leave..

We're the 3rd batch to leave.. luckily I know quite a number of the wives who are going there as well, albeit different periods, but since we all can't work, we can accompany each other.. go grocery shopping together.. it would be like taking a 2-year sabbatical and enjoying life a little bit... :) After seeing all her photos, we back in Singapore are so excited already... cant wait!
