Bought a laptop yesterday at the IT show.. unexpected purchase cos Hubby and I were only planning to buy a lappy in June before we leave for August.. but our friends who went recommended this good deal: HP Entertainment Notebook with a discount of $500. So we fought the maddening crowd at Suntec and emerged $1,399 poorer.
Well, technically we will only be $1399 poorer when we pay for the laptop next week. So unfortuante (or fortunate) that we queued for like 1 freakin' hour to pay for our purchase at the Harvey Norman Booth, only to have the credit cards and NETs Machines die out at all the booths when we were 3 persons away frm the cashier. Thus, no cards transaction could be made. Ours in a pre-order cos they ran out of stock, so they allowed us to pay cash $50 for it first... We're in denial now...

This two pics taken off the blog of one of our friend who will be leaving for Idaho on Tuesday. She's going with her husband, who's my hubby's colleague. They already have some friends who are there, so they've sent back some pictures of their house in Idaho, in the mountainhome air force base where we will be staying as well.. OMG.. so nice.. so quaint..and so damn huge.. hope there are still houses like that available for us when we get there in August!
Hubby booked the sAF seaview chalet for my birthday from 31 Mar - 3 April! Can't wait to wake up to the sound of the seas for 4 days..
