House Updates

We have finally shifted into our new house about a week ago. 5040, Aspen Loop. Facade of the house is old, but on the inside, everything is new and most importantly, CLEAN :)

Entire house, except for kitchen is carpeted, 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms with bathtubs, kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, fridge and dishwasher. The only big ticket items we had to get was our dryer and washing machine. Dryer is essential for winter, thus decided to get one now first.

Our shipment of our own furniture and boxes of our stuff will be arriving on Monday. Yay! No more lying on the floor and watching shows on my laptop and getting backaches in the process.

Have started to experiment and play with recipes. Cooked Mee Goreng this morning for brunch. Quite an easy recipe to follow, but will have to cook a few more times to perfect it. Then dinner, Shiyun and SK had dinner at our place ; shiyun contributed her Prima Taste Chicken rice at the last minute, thus we cooked Authentic Boon tong kee-tasting chicken rice in 1.5hrs, just in time when the guys return home for dinner. Damn yummy. Taste like Home :)

Weekend's here! Having STeamboat dinner tomorrow. And also need to start planning for hubby's birthday soon.

In 2 weeks, I have some good news to share with everyone. =)
