Long weekend..

This weekend is a long weekend in the States. Labor day, thus long holiday from Friday til Monday. On Thursday afternoon, the wives were a lil in the holiday mood already, so all 9 of us, we went to one of the wives' house where we baked cakes, then ate our cakes and had high tea and chatting session. It was fun! Finally able to live our tai-tai dream a bit :P

Friday, most of the husbands din have to work, but mine had to cos he is still on course, thus he has no holiday.. so me and Shiyun followed another couple down to Boise to grab some stuff without our hubbies.. without our hubbies, of cos we managed to shop a bit more.. :P we 3 girls went crazy in Forever 21, which is like so freakin cheap here. I boguht two dresses for 12.50USD, and it's not even on sale ok.. damn cheap!

Its a pity its a long holiday but we cant go much places, due to some of the RSAF restrictions in place for newcomers. We haveto be here for a min of 3 months before we can travel out of Idaho on our own, thus this long weekend, almost everyone can travel (drive) to other states except us. Thus, only a handful of us are left behind in Idaho while many of our friends travelled out on their own to other states via roadtrip. S

o yesterday we went to Twn falls and shosone falls, which is within Idaho. Beautfiul natural places... canyons, falls... just lovely. We also went to this Indian Ice Caves, where there are caves where ice is natural formed in the caves... they opened one of the caves for public tours, so we went for one, and boy, i was in shorts and slippers, thus when I went in I was freezing my butt off at sub zero temps!!

We had some nice food too in twin falls... tried a new Thai place in twin falls which was a lil disappointing, still prefer the one in Boise. Then for dinner, we had jap food for the first time. And boy, we order this Happy Boat for 2, and this huge boat arrived with so much food on it, - teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, tempura, sushi etc.. we could hardly finish everything. And we only paid 30USD for it. It's s cheap lo!!! and it's Jap food. Something like that would prob cost us a SIN100+. Yup, its a happy boat alright, cos it made us both quite happy at dinner :P
